Photo Editing Software

Had a friend recently ask about photo editing programs.  He was looking at PaintShop Pro (Newegg has PhotoVideo Suite X6 for free after rebate right now).  I haven't used that in a LONG time so know next to nothing about it.

I have Photoshop CS6, purchased for me by my work.  So I don't mess around with other photo editing software.

What does everybody use?  Pro/Cons?

Paint.NET

I personally use Paint.NET, does everything I need it to do and not as complicated as Photoshop, though I know it cant do everything Photoshop can.  I like free Wink
