Cryorig C1 CPU Cooler Review

These days there are plenty of options for SFF (Small Form Factor) air coolers that lean towards a more enthusiast level of performance. The mainstream thing to do for a while when dealing in small enclosures was to go with all-in-one watercooler; but there have been multiple air coolers that are new to the market and revitalizing the air movement. The C1 is CRYORIG’s take on this type performance piece in a small package.
Before we take an in-depth look at the C1, let’s get acquainted with the brand. CRYORIG just recently was established, just last year was their official opening, in 2013. Members of their team have worked directly, or indirectly with more well-known brands such as Thermalright, Prolimatech, Phanteks, and many others. They have marketed themselves as a group of people of overclockers and PC modding enthusiasts. It is easy to get excited to see what their smaller cooler can offer those people obsessed with the ultimate small yet powerful build. So far they’ve made a great impression on the community, and have received high praises in past reviews. Let’s see if they can keep this momentum up with this cooler.

Featuring our patented DirectCompress™ Soldering, each heatpipe has 10% more contact surface than traditional manufacturing methods. Increased contact surface means more heat transferred and a cooler CPU.
Double Heatpipe Efficiency
U-Type heatpipes spread heat in two directions simultaneously, increasing heat carrying capacity. The C1 has a total of 6 full copper sintered heatpipes, containing 4 high capacity U-Type heatpipes which nearly double the cooling capacity.
The C1 features CRYORIG proprietary Jet Fin Acceleration System™. Utilizing two stacks of fins with different gap distances, this causes hot exhaust air to move faster out of the heatsink.
Low Profile Design
The C1 along with its XT140 high performance and slim profile fan is the ultimate combination for achieving a low profile while also maintaining high performance. Designed for ITX systems.
Featuring CRYORIG’s patented MultiSeg™ quick mount system, and AMD quick mount kit, installations are easy and ready to go within minutes.
