Gaming mice these days are a dime a dozen (or two). It seems every company out there makes a gaming mouse and on top of that these same companies make multiple different gaming mice. Manufacturers constantly need to make their mice stand out above the competition. Whether it be a million and a half buttons, crazy lighting schemes or feature-packed software suites, they all have to have something nobody else does. Thermaltake has just one-upped everyone with their new Smart series of peripherals. These gaming peripherals connect via Bluetooth to your smartphone and track usage in the Thermaltake app. Thermaltake was kind enough to send over a Theron PLUS+ Smart Mouse for us to check out for you guys so let's get to it!
I'm quite certain you are all familiar with the name ROCCAT. We have reviewed many of their products over the years here at Pro Clockers. ROCCAT makes some great gaming peripherals from keyboards to mice and headsets. What sets ROCCAT apart is their extensive software suite that links their products together for seamless integration. ROCCAT recently released their FPS-oriented Tyon gaming mouse and were kind enough to send one over to us so let's check it out!
We recently took a look at the COUGAR 600K mechanical gaming keyboard and now we've got it's little brother in the shop - the 500K gaming keyboard. The 500K is similar to the 600K in looks and layout but where the 600K lacks in software controls and full backlighting the 500K shines with the exception of the use of a membrane keyboard instead of mechanical switches. COUGAR was kind enough to send us one to check out for you guys so let's take a look at it now.
Gigabyte isn't a name your normally associate with peripherals. When you think Gigabyte you typically think motherboards and graphics cards right? Well not too long ago I took a look at the Gigabyte Force H3X gaming headset. Gigabyte has now released their Force M63 Raptor FPS gaming mouse as their next foray into the peripheral market. This mouse was designed by the winner of the 2013 Gigabyte Mouse Design Competition. They sent us one to check out so let's get to it!
Gaming keyboards are everywhere these days. Membrane switches, mechanical switches, no backlighting, partial backlighting, full-color backlighting, selectable backlighting, software enhancements, etc. The list goes on. There's just so many options out there for a gaming keyboard. Our friends over at COUGAR have opted for something a little different. A gaming keyboard that's pure gaming. No fancy software, mechanical switches, brushed aluminum main body and modest single-color backlighting. What is this monstrosity you ask? Well my friends the answer is the COUGAR 600K mechanical gaming keyboard. COUGAR was kind enough to send us one to check out so let's get to it!
The Thermaltake CHALLENGER Prime membrane gaming keyboard packs a whole lot of features at a budget friendly price. The backlighting system features red, blue, and purple LEDs for static and pulse lighting; Brightness can further adjusted via the dial in the front center of the keyboard. As with the CHALLENGER series of keyboards, the CHALLENGER Prime also features onboard memory for setting the dedicate macro keys. In addition, there are multimedia keys, shortcut keys, repeat rate and poll rate adjustment keys.
Gaming mice are quite an interesting thing. There's FPS-specific mice, MMO-specific mice, sniper-oriented mice and just general gaming mice. Gaming mice are becoming powerhouses these days - with integrated ARM processors and multitudes of features. Cougar released their 600M gaming mouse into the wild recently that packs a bunch of the aforementioned features. They were kind enough to send us one to check out, so let's get to it.
