A Closer Look
Now that we have the Harpoon unpacked let’s take a better look at its features.
On the top of the mouse we see the scroll wheel and the DPI button as well as the Corsair name and Logo. What stands out here is the aggressive treading on the scroll wheel, this is really nice compared to some of the slippery wheels found on budget mice.
Looking at the bottom we see the product sticker and the 6000 DPI optical sensor. The bottom view also shows off the nice split design around the scroll wheel, this gives the mouse and interesting and uniquely aggressive look.
On the right-hand side, we have a nice rubberized grip which is a very ergonomically handy feature.
The left-hand side sports a matching rubber grip and two customizable buttons.
The USB cable is a stiff rubber which will be nice for cable routing, the USB plug itself sports a very aesthetic two-tone coloring and a nice strain relief where it connects to the cord.
