Packaging and Unboxing
The ASUS Prime X299-Deluxe comes in a dark grey, almost black box with blue highlights in the background. The Prime X299-Deluxe is featured predominately. Quite a few of the key features are highlighted as well.
The rear of the box carries over the color scheme from the front. Again the Prime X299-Deluxe is shown, this time with specific highlights pointed out. There is also the basic specifications listed and an explanation of some its more unique features.
The front of the box opens up to reveals a picture of the Prime X299-Deluxe and a listing of the more unique features.
There is also a window that displays the motherboard.
The Prime X299-Deluxe is tucked away in an antistatic bag and framed by a cardboard tray.
Under the cardboard tray reside all the accessories.
ASUS has included a User Guide, a driver/utility disk, and a coupon for 20% off a set of Cablemod cables.
A ThunderboltEX 3 riser card is included, along with a driver disk and manual.
A pair of WiFi antennas are also included.
There six included SATA 6.0 Gb/s cables.
Dual and triple Nvidia SLI bridges, plus a M.2 vertical mount.
There’s a rear I/O shield and a RGB extension cable.
There is also a M.2 screw package, a fan extension card screw pack, and Asus’ own Q-Connector.
A fan extension card and cable allow for additional fans.
A ThunderboltEX 3 GPIO cable and three thermistor cables.
Finally there is a mini DisplayPort cable.
