Packaging and Unboxing
The packaging of the GIGABYTE X299 AORUS Gaming 9 has got to be the biggest and heaviest I’ve ever encountered which we will see why in the latter part of this page.
Once opened, you’ll be greeted with the motherboard behind a clear plastic shell protecting the motherboard.
Removing the motherboard layer would reveal a sheet of sticker decals.
Inside you’ll find a set of bundled accessories and supporting hardware such as the SATA cables, M.2 PCIe NVMe add-in-card, SLI Bridge, WiFi antenna and others.
GIGABYTE includes a fancy AORUS case badge with the chassis which some enthusiasts would love.
Here’s the PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD add-in-card included with the motherboard.
Here’s the set of SATA cables, you get six of them which are all sleeved to give it a premium look.
