XFX Gaming WarPad

I was sent this Gaming WarPad (Mouse pad) by XFX late last week. This is a soft surface mouse pad that Measures 16.97x13 X 98" X 0.23622" or 6MM X 355mm X 431mm which provides tons of room even for someone like me who rests his entire forearm on the desk and not just my wrist.

The Warpad attaches to your desk via a clamp made of ABS Plastic and a "Precision Engineered Spring Steel Hinge" at the back end of the mat that will fit surfaces up to 2 inches or 50.8 mm and it attaches quite securely not allowing the WarPad to slip of move as you are using it which is a very nice feature. The clamp also acts as the "Edgeless design" and also a very nice support for your forearm/wrists which make it more comfortable to game for extended sessions. (I have actually been having problems with my shoulder and my arm when gaming and can tell it is helping in just the short time I have been using it.

The back of the box informs us that this is a 4 layer WarPad, the first layer is Active Performance Fabric, the second and third being Styrene Butadiene and the bottom a T-Shaped Textured Imprint. The website describes it this way:

Smooth High Tracking APF Surface

Smooth Synthetic APF (Active Performance Fabric) surface is durable and finely knit unlike cotton surface that bubble and loosen. Ridged rubber matting for suprior grip and strength.

I am using a Razer Copperhead mouse and I can tell that is is working much better on this XFX WarPad than on my Razer Goliathus Mantis Speed Game Mouse Pad and just as well as it did on my original Razer Destructor mousepad which was a hard surface as opposed to the soft surface of my last two gaming mats.

After using this for about 4 days now I can say the response of my mouse is every bit as good as my afore mentioned hard mouse pad if not better which honestly surprised me as I did not think a soft surface could do as well as a hard surface based on previous experience.

The way that this clamps to your desk makes it so that your forearm is resting on a much more comfortable surface than the sharp or hard edge of your desk which for me at least is much more comfortable for long gaming sessions or while surfing the net.

All in all I have to say that thus far the XFX WarPad is the best and most comfortable mousepad I have used and would suggest it to anyone. Thanks for reading.

Yes I would like to review some stuff. What more information would you like about it and what else would you like photo's of? I am new to this so always up for some constructive criticism.

Nice

Nice Sir-Diealot, looks like a sweet mouse.  I have had mine for about 8 years, it works well but it's old.  Maybe its time for me to get a new one?

I am using a Steelseries Rival 300 now that was a gift from a friend, surprised how much I like it but if I were not having problems with my Copperhead I would keep using that one.
