new eco II something wrong

Hi proclockers I'm looking for some feed back for the Eco II from coolit systems I just got got it for the raplace of the eco first gen after the pump died on my rig and they send me this one, I installed on my rig and the first temperatures were ok about 34c compare to my thermaltake frio 37c running @ 4.0 GHz on my FX-8150 so I decide to test it I start playing BF3 for half and hour I get of and look the temperature again and was 62c and I got scare but stop dropping fast to 40c , I'm using aida 64 to monitoring my temperature i was using AI suite II from my mobo Asus but and can't run it I don't know why I just want to know if the problem is program or the cooler that I'm using ( or the user lol)

The Eco II is the same than the H60 from corsair any tip, coment of temperature can be helpful.

Smart Suite II? Do you mean Ai Suite II? Anyhow do get some sort of error when you trying opening it?

yeah sorry I been having problem with that program since a reset my rig like a month ago but I'm more worries about this crappy cooler than the program even the this one help me monitoring the temperatures and overclocking voltages but talking about AI suite a been having a hard time trying to install it from the cd or the website

If your Thermaltake Frio gives you better temps then I wouldn't both with that CoolIT Eco II watercooling unit.

I've never used ASUS's Ai Suite II because I use AIDA64 to monitor everything on my system. I honestly wouldn't bother with Ai Suite II unless you absolutely need one of it's included features.

Try hwmonitor, the fx are hotter than what we were used to see from an amd cpu. What volts are you putting through?

I think i gonna go back to the frio I never though the a air cooler gonna be better than a water cooler but I'm thinking go bigger, this CPU runs really hot i need more room on my rig to go for dual rad to run cooler

Well there not your DIY custom watercooling kits, there just self-contained AIO watercooling kits and they perform no better than the best air coolers; maybe a touch better when cranking the fan speed if you are using a dual rad like H100.

That new Water 2.0 Extreme from Thermaltake looks intriguing. Cooler Master also has the Eisenberg in the works which looks interesting. I'm interested in seeing how they perform when compared to the current self-contained watercooling kits as well as DIY watercooling kits.

It should be a no contest but I would be very interested in seeing how the 120mm version of the Eisenberg fairs against my Phanteks PH-TC14PE.

If you're wanting to run cooler than the Frio (which is my current favorite cooler), and don't want to spend the time/money on a good DIY water cooling system, what about looking at a TEC cooler? I think one of the major manufacturers just came out with a new TEC cooler, just can't remember which one...

I remember using a TEC cooler a couple years back and it cooled better than anything on the market at that time, well, other than DIY expensive water coolers.

TEC? Do you mean vapor chamber? Cooler Master recently released the TPC 812 which is one bad@$$ for its size.

TEC, Thermo Electric Cooler aka Peltier Cooler. It's probably the best option for those that don't want to go with a water cooling solution. But, they can be pretty expensive compared to normal air coolers, which is why they aren't that common. The one I had was around $110, sadly I can't remember the model.

The TPC 812 is similar, but it's not a true peltier cooler. CM V10 however is a TEC cooler, actually a hybrid TEC/Vapor Chamber I think.

There's also the Ultra ChillTEC, but I would rather look at the V10 :D

I know what a TEC is; I just thought you meant something else since the consumer market for TEC coolers is zero to extremely small.

I think the ChillTEC was the only hybrid air/TEC cooler available to consumers.

No vapor chambers on the V10; its a hybrid heatpipe/TEC.

Ok, wasn't sure, it sounded like you were questioning what a TEC is :D No biggie, miscommunication is all LOL

Yea, I checked out the V10, I thought it had a vapor chamber and it doesn't. Haven't tried a vapor chamber, only an old TEC several years back. I thought another company had recently came out or announced a new TEC cooler, but can't find it so I'm probably wrong on that :p It happens a lot

thanks i just download it and this one gives me the same temperatures than aida 64 and voltage on my cpu 1.34

yeah I didn't realize how good it was until I took it off, the only test that I forgot was check temp after playing but is really good , TEC cooler!! if you mean the v10 from cooler master I know that one is really good but is humongous I don't think that can fit on my storm enforcer lol.
but I'm thinking to do a little experiment before to give up with the water cooler I'm thinking to swap the ventilator since the the ones from the frio the RPM are really high to see if i can get a better performance.
