MSI Z87-GD65 to Krait Conversion

I recently did a color change to a MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard for fellow reviewer Aaron Howe. The process involved removing the heatsinks, taking them completely apart, stipping the red anodizing, and then painting them white. I'm rather happy with the end result, as is Aaron.

We're both really happy with

We're both really happy with the way it turned out. It should look really nice in his white Corsair 600T case.

I always liked a white/black

I always liked a white/black scheme.  How difficult was it to remove the heat sinks?  Any chance your paint is going to reduce the ability for the sinks to dissipate heat?  Did you use a special paint?

I wish I had the talent

I wish I had the talent and know how to do this, if I did my build would be blue and black instead of red and black.
