Hey Neil, thanks for starting this ! Guess I'll have to get some photos up some time today. Rick should be delivering the 2nd 900D that I had custom painted, around 4pm today, so I'll get those photos up also.

Stan, there's nothing like showing your friends your latest bling. I love to see what new gear people are trying 'cause I end up wanting a lot of it myself. Posting pictures makes it more personal and shows off your build skills too. Everyone get's to see how you conquer the cable management monsters. I love it,.........

Yes I do and I plan to put them into the Z87 build with the XSPC kit. Eventually they'll be water cooled too. Not sure how much blocks are for them, but will end up getting them.

Hi Guys, Rick just drove down from Ohio, and delivered the 2nd 900D ! Depending what my right arms like tomorrow, I'll try to pull it from the box and take some photos, but I'm pretty sure the metallic will not show the same as it would in the sun light.

I had Rick take the next two projects back with him I', having him paint my Cosmos II Ultra Brandy Wine, as far as the custom build for BitFenix, using the Shinobe XL, we haven't figured out which paint to go with yet.

I'll also be reviewing the new Pink Enermax OSTROG, I can already hear everyone laughing because the case is pink, but Enermax and I have plans for it. I'll be building a full system, then we will give the build to a battered women's shelter here in Punxsutawney and maybe get the local news paper, and one of the TV stations involved. This will be excellent exposure, for not only Enermax, but also Pro-Clockers !

Need to talk to Rick about painting a case. need to know if it is viable to ship such a big item or if I will have to pick his brains for tips and do it myself.

Smart idea there Stan but we must have photo's of you with your pink rig published here first :D

Stan should be able to pull off a Pink build without any hitches. He's just got to get in touch with his feminine side. (no, I didn't say to touch yourself Stan!)

I just got a new 1tb drive to replace my 2x 500gb drives. Now I need help on how to transfer the data from the 2 drives to that drive. Any tips? Aside from manually transferring the files, is there some kind of cloning method to do that?

What kind of files?
Are we talking about an OS, or more than one OS spread across two 500GB drives?

Just data files but a partition hold some applications and games. I'm worried the shortcuts and registries would get messy if I do manual transfer.. :(

Use cloning software to copy the partition with the games and applications to the new drive first. (preserving links and shortcuts)
Then copy the other drive's files to the 1TB drive later on.

Cloning software is usually free on your drive maker's website.

Yeah, there's a lot of good free cloning programs. I might have a couple of paid programs hanging around that I never used, if I have a chance thus weekend, I'll look for them.

nice looking cards! My only hardware upgrade this season was the purchase of a Fractal White R4 case. Great case for the money. I picked up several games in the Steam holiday sale as well. It is so hard to so no when the games are so cheap

I just got my Logitech G930 7.1 Wireless headset. Been using the CM Sirius 5.1 ones, but tired of the cable LOL see how well these work. For $75 was hard to pass up. Plus has a $50 Amazon card from work to make it even cheaper for me LOL

Good deal on the cam Neil ! Asus just sent their new R9 280X DC2T TOP for review, the sample arrived today. Seeing as I now have 3 R9 280X GPU's guess I'll be doing a small round up.

A round up review would be killer. These R9 280X cards seem to be a real sweet spot for price/performance in the market.

From what I've seen in a couple of benchmarks, the 280X was very close to the 290X, I'll know more once I'm finished, moving on to games today.

Lets put it this way, two R9 290X GPU's in Crossfire, scored 193052 in 3DMark Ice Storm Two, R9 280X GPUs in Crossfire scored 191669 in the same test, which is only a 1383 point difference, that's not much considering the price difference between the 280X and 290X
