Windows 10 is coming to an end...soon

How many people are still on the ropes with Windows 10? Have you been using it and/or are you using the Insider Builds?

I've been using the OS since Nov 2014. The product itself has come a long way since introduction and each update has both ups and downs. Much like any application I've seen updated over the last few decades.

You have only a few days to consider the upgrade if you've never done it, yet. Are you still on a previous version of Windows and not intending to upgrade? Have you tried and reverted back?

Alternatives are out there as well, like Linux. Are you looking at that, and at which ones? I've already been screwing around with other options, just because. Not to change but for some epxerience.

I switched to 10 as soon as

I switched to 10 as soon as the free update became available... one part of me deciding to do it was pure curiosity, the other side was simply wanting to know if all the rumoured benifits for gamers were actually true or not. I didn´t notice much of a difference at all in the beginning but as the first couple of updates rolled in i did notice an all over smoother gameplay in some games, nothing to get hyped about though. Do i regret switching? Not at all. It does what i want it to do and i have simply disabled or removed any apps/programms i don´t need.

People are afraid of the OS

People are afraid of the OS like it's going to be watching them. It isn't as intrusive as it used to be mind you. I like being able to set the options from the beginning of the install. It seems to run some games smoother than it used to, and I agree noticeable differences that were made over time and updates. I expect it to change and more over time, but at least I know a lot of what's going on with it. Only issues I've had pertain to the hardware not the overall software. I've had to reset the OS twice due to some hardware faults. I'm more disappointed in the third-party AV software that has been released. I've found more issues in removing/uninstalling the software than anything.
