Aside from the recent reveal of Battlefield 1‘s PC specifications, DICE also shared some of the changes it plans to make following the analysis of the data coming from the title’s open beta. As it happens, developers are set to induce some balance adjustments, and a tweak as to how scoring works within the game’s Conquest mode, which is the traditional 64-person multiplayer.

Needless to say, all of the platforms that support Battlefield 1 — that is, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One — will go on to receive the game on the same launch day. However, should some players want to jump into the action a little bit earlier than others, DICE and Electronic Arts are offering a Deluxe Edition giving some fans access to the title three days prior to to those with the standard release. Speaking of the plain iteration, it’s important to note that the regular PC version is digital-only in North America, which could irk some players on the platform who wanted physical releases.

Battlefield 1 is set to release on October 21, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Thanks for posting.  I find it curious the recomment a 1060 when they don’t have an SLI port.  So my two 970’s aren’t good enough?

I played the beta nad had fairly high framerates. Everything turned up, nice and smooth. I just didn’t like the servers being down most of the time.

I still wish they wouldn’t call it Battlefield 1. It is a horrid name.  As for the minimum specs I have a feeling that despite what it says even with both pcs of mine being just over the minimum or just underneath it the game will run fine and at very decent settings.  Also I will be running the game at 1080p too.  Finally by the time I get the game which won’t be at launch I may have better hardware by then anway and heck also I have not gotten enough hours out of BF3 and BF4 to be looking for another BF game to play anyway.  Back log 4 life.
