Share your work below in this thread!
We are looking for some interesting builds. This doesn’t have to be the fastest, or most powerful build on the planet.. it just has to have anything unique or interesting. Something that you wouldn’t be able to just go to a store and casually buy pre-built. It could be unique from a design perspective, or from a functionality perspective.
-There are no minimum submissions. If you have more than one build, feel free to share.
-The prize is $100 USD, to be paid out by Paypal.
-The winner will be decided by a panel of Proclockers staff.
-The contest will run until June 1st, 2020.
Good luck!May 7, 2020 at 10:10 am #96630QuasiParticipant
My build is aging, but it still works for my day to day use and haven’t really been able to afford to upgrade. I’m starting to have some thermal throttling issues, but I think it’s because my AIO is getting old and I may replace with a Noctua CPU fan. I built it myself though I’m not sure if it’s considered “interesting” lol.
Intel i5-3570k CPU @ 3.4 GHz – not currently overclocked until I can resolve heating issues but can hit 5.0 GHZ when done right
Corsair AIO CPU liquid cooler
ASUS Sabretooth Z77 Motherboard
2×4 (8 total) GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 DDR3 MHz 9-9-9-24 1.50V
Antec 80+Gold 620 Watt High Current Gamer power supply
NZXT H2 Gaming Case
MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (also want to upgrade but too much $$ for now)
WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB PC SSD – SATA III 6 Gb/s 2.5″/7mm SSD
WD3200BPVT 320GB WD Scorpio Blue 2.5-inch SATA 3.0Gb/s
0 RGB – can’t stand RGB lolMay 8, 2020 at 4:35 am #96637DraelrenParticipant

Yes! It is my computer case for one of my LAN rigs.May 9, 2020 at 2:52 pm #96681
Draelren, That is a sick build!! It might not have the most power but it is awesome! It must have been quite the challenge to change the interior to fit the components. Do you have any other unique builds like this one that you can show us?May 9, 2020 at 2:59 pm #96682
Well StaticFx you really put a lot of work and love in your build! Those small details really make the difference. I tried sleeving myself one time but i never really finished. It had sooo much work! I can see that in your PC it was really worth the hours! As for the window i will tell you the truth, I thought it was a custom case from MSI 😂. Great Job!May 11, 2020 at 12:04 pm #96727
Draelren.. do you have inside pics!?? want to see!
Thanks Petros! sleeving by hand sucks lolMay 11, 2020 at 12:17 pm #96720DDCustomModsParticipantMay 11, 2020 at 12:23 pm #96735
damn that’s awesome DD, it’s very cool that you pre-designed it and it came out exactly as envisioned.May 11, 2020 at 1:37 pm #96736
@DDCUSTOMMODS Wow, that’s another level of custom… So damn beautiful!! As it worked please post others of your awesome builds for as to admire!!! 😍😍May 12, 2020 at 12:36 pm #96755
Wow!!! truly amazing!
I wanted to do something like that, buuut time and budget always interferes lolMay 12, 2020 at 3:29 pm #96739DDCustomModsParticipant
Thank you! I tend to over do it on the planning portion. Just swapped out GPUs and put my 980 Classified under water. I was thankful that I took maintenance into consideration when I designed it! 😀
Board and shelf that everything is attached folds down after removing 2 screws.
