Well this is it for right now, we are going to work on it more in the future (When I get my window in) and try to straighten up those cables some more as I am not happy with them at all. I still intend to add a pair of matching GPU’s but I am going to wait to see what Pascal is…… I think. Specs under the picture.

    1). CPU Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W BX80648I75930K Desktop Processor –

2). Motherboard ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

3). GPU XFX R9-290x (For now Will be replaced with a Asus Strix 980 ti)

4). Case Cooler Master Cosmos II)

5). Cpu Cooler Cooler Master Nepton 240M – CPU Water Cooling System, All-In-One Kit with 240mm Radiator and 2 Silencio Fans

6). HDD 1 1 TB Western Digital Black Edition & 1 500 GB Western Digital Blue Edition

7.)  Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5″ Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

    8). SSD 2 x SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 2.5″ 250GB SATA 6Gb/s 1x nm Samsung Toggle DDR 2.0 3-Bit MLC NAND Flash Memory (400Mbps)

    9). RAM 1 x HyperX 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4-24000) Desktop Memory Model HX430C15PB2K4/16

10). Case Fans Just what came with minus the top fan becaus of the water cooler

11). PSU Cooler Master V1200 – Fully Modular 1200W 80 PLUS Platinum PSU with Silent Fanless Mode Operation (6th Generation Skylake Compatible)

Edit: The 500 Gig is gone, sold it with my old AMD rig as I could not find the two 160 gig HDD’s I had intened to send with that rig. Now I will have to buy another 500 gig HDD as I had promised to give that to the friend that I gave my APU rig to last year. I had told him that he would get that when I got my 4TB or above and I am a man of my word so I will get him that. I did add a WD 5TB HDD so that is going to be my gaming drive and the 1TB will be used for recording and screenshots.

You are on your way at last!!  Good luck, more pictures.

Here are a few more. I have to order some braided cables yet.

The new and the old. Cosmos II on the left and a HAF 932 Blue version on the right.

    [[{“fid”:”60115245″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

My gaming area with the old HAF 932 and then with the new Cosmos II tower. (I know I need a much bigger monitor)

    [[{“fid”:”60115247″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

Just a picture of the XFX-R9-290X I had a hard time getting pictures of this.

    [[{“fid”:”60115250″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

Cooler Master V1200 Platinum PSU and Stock fans over HDD area which contains a Western Digital Black 5TB Drive and a Western Digital Black 1TB drive.

    [[{“fid”:”60115252″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

Cooling unit Cooler Master 240 Neptune (I would like to upgrade to the 280)

I still need to get a newer pair of GPU’s. I would like to get some braided cables in red and black to help make it look better and I would also like to install the Phobya LED Flexlight High Density RGB lights with IR Remote as soon as I can get my Window and accent pieces ordered.

    [[{“fid”:”60115254″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

Just want the window, I am not talented enough to do the other stuff.

    [[{“fid”:”60115255″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

These are the accent pieces I am after.

    [[{“fid”:”60115256″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”,”field_file_image_alt_text[und][0][value]”:””,”field_file_image_title_text[und][0][value]”:””},”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:{“class”:”media-element file-default”}}]]

I agree but money is limited. I am hoping by spring. I would love to have this one myself, looks nice and the 2 reviews on Amazon make it sound nice. Maybe by then it will drop to under $1000.00 [[{“fid”:”60115875″,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:{“format”:”default”},”type”:”media”,”attributes”:{“alt”:”ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q Curved Ultra Wide Gaming Monitor – Full Review / GSync Test”,”class”:”media-element file-default”},”link_text”:null}]]

It is rough to get the good stuff when you are only on disability, most things I get I have to make sacrifices for, I turned off all TV this month so I could start saving for GPU and Monitor but then had to spend 600 on glasses. That puts me 2 months behind in my savings right there. When I built my one rig in 2010 I went a month and a half not eating in a 4 month period. Would have been the same for this build but my GF would not let me do it, without her this build would have been a lot harder to get done. I will get there eventually, maybe I will win one in the Summer Giveaway 😀
