Its asking me to update to Windows 8.1 which Im willing to do until I can afford to buy Windows 10! My question is when I update it where do I find a new key to install since Im assuming the Windows 8 key I have wont work with 8.1! Could someone be so kind to tell me how to perform this function! LOL because I dont have a clue??? Yall can LOL at me later HaHa just need some help hopefully Windows 8.1 will run better! Thanks guys any help will be appreciated!March 8, 2017 at 10:56 am #93614Bob2701Member
Going from 8 to 8.1 should not need a key. If you run into problems you can always go back to the image HP has on the drive. (Factory reset.)March 16, 2017 at 5:17 pm #93625amdcrankitupParticipant
