The best character in For Honor is WARMONGER.

He excels both at attack and defense and can take advantage of his enemy’s weaknesses with his fast attack animation and great mobility. Even amongst the S-Tier, he is a special character that is great against most match-ups.

What’s the latest season of For Honor?

For Honor is currently on their Year 5 Season 3 release. Its official title is “Tempest” and it was released last September 9, 2021. Here’s the official press statement:

Tempest brings harsh torrential rains and cyclonic winds after a period of intense drought in Year 5 Season 2 Mirage. When Heathmoor’s warriors wished for water during the drought, the Gods answered – but not in the way the warriors wanted. Now, gigantic tidal waves wreck Heathmoor’s villages and harbors along the coastlines.

Who is the newest hero in For Honor?

As of Year 5, Season 3, the newest hero is Kyoshin. This playable character was unveiled in the previous season of For Honor.


What are the recent patch updates?

The most salient updates in the new season patch are as follows:

  • Dodging mechanics have been changed to match the player’s input direction, instead of the camera angle.
  • The following playable characters have been somewhat nerfed:
    • Raider
    • Orochi
    • Warlord
  • Bug fixes all around that improve both gameplay and interface navigation.

Is For Honor free on PC?

NO. For Honor costs US$14.99 and can be bought either from Steam, the Epic Games Store, or the Ubisoft website.

NO. Your progress in For Honor is directly tied to Ubisoft’s online servers. This means that you need to be connected to the internet in order to save your progress.

Can you play For Honor cross-platform?

NO. As of the release of this article, For Honor does not support cross-platform play.

Can you play For Honor split-screen?

NO. For Honor only supports online matchmaking, so you and your friends each need a device to play together.

Will there be a For Honor 2?

Though Ubisoft has not officially announced a sequel, there are rumors circulating about the possibility of a For Honor sequel.


Of course, you should study what is good at the current meta of the game, but what is important is to actually enjoy For Honor. Don’t worry about which character is the best.
