Paladins Tier List (September 2021)

Paladins Tier List

We are going to give you the ultimate Paladins Tier List in this article.

Last Updated: September 2021

“All good things must end”, we hope that Paladins will prove this expression wrong. Since it came out, Paladins has been a model of how free-to-play games can be accessible to everyone and at the same time offer high-quality gameplay. If you are looking for a game to get your blood flowing and then Paladins is where you should look for.

The problem that most people are facing is simple. Which of the 41 should I pick? The first thing we are going to say is that every player has their own playstyle, so pick the ones that fit yours better. Did you get that? Ok now forget it. If you want to get serious about this game, some characters will give you a significant advantage over the enemy. These are the ones you should really play.

Paladins Tier List

At the moment, the characters that are going to give you the biggest advantage in this game are the ones you will find on this tier. What these characters excel at that puts them on this tier is at dealing crazy amounts of DPS without being in danger themselves. All of them have some form of increased mobility and are fearsome in the battleground. We would suggest you focus on learning how to utilize their abilities.

  • Androxus
  • Dredge
  • Cassie
  • Drogoz

Paladins Tier List: A-Tier

It looks like the S-Tier is dominated by DPS characters, but they would be nothing without the supports of this tier. Besides the supports that are on this tier, we have also tanks and some less powerful DPSs. Don’t get disappointed if your favorite character is on A-Tier instead of S-Tier, all of these characters are pretty much excellent choices and even necessary sometimes.

  • Khan
  • Inara
  • Bomb King
  • Strix
  • Furia
  • Lian
  • Koga
  • Makoa
  • Willo

Paladins Tier List: B-Tier

Now we are getting to the more balanced characters of the game. We have here a mix of DPS, Supports, and Tanks that can work in most situations but are not the dominant powerhouses that the characters on higher tiers can be. If you spend a lot of time learning one of these characters, you can still have a big impact in the game.

  • Evie
  • Buck
  • Talus
  • Tyra
  • Seris
  • Lex
  • Torvald
  • Kinessa
  • Viktor
  • Ying
  • Fernando
  • Sha Lin
  • Mal’damba
  • Zhin

Paladins Tier List: C-Tier

On the C-Tier, we find the characters that have some potential to work in a team, but usually, they are underperforming. Their damage is not good enough, and the same can be said about their survivability, either through mobility or just raw HP. They are very situational picks and require a lot of coordination with the team, to make sure you are on the same page. A bit risky to pick these characters.

  • Vivian
  • Jenos
  • Pip
  • Ash
  • Barik
  • Terminus

Paladins Tier List: D-Tier

We are getting from “a bit risky” to “very risky”.  It is not that the characters are bad. They just don’t have what it takes to compete with the ones that are higher on this list. They get outshined in literally every aspect. Whether it is damage, survivability, mobility, heal, utility, AOE, crowd control there are better characters than these ones.

  • Ruckus
  • Maeve
  • Grover

What is there to be said about the bottom of the list? There is no merit in picking these characters.

  • Moki
  • Grohk
  • Skye

Who is the best character in Paladins?

If you were looking for the best character in the game, you found him. Androxus is a great flanker that can spread chaos amongst the enemy team without putting himself in danger. His damage is incredible making him a serious threat if it catches you off guard.

Paladins is an online competitive game and as one, it requires communication and time investment to excel in it. Talk with your team to make sure you have the same game plan and pick the character that fits what your team wants to do. Don’t be stubborn and only pick the character you want to play. You will see a lot more wins by just communicating with your team that picking the best DPS in every game and ignoring your teammates (we are painfully aware of that).
