Samsung Notebook Odyssey with RTX 2080 Overview
Samsung revealed its astonishing flagship notebook at CES 2019 by the name of Samsung Notebook Odyssey. We all know about its predecessor, a mediocre gaming laptop supporting NVIDIA GTX 1050. Samsung has turned the tables this time with this release as every aspect regarding the laptop is improved whether that be design, cooling solution or performance.
Samsung Notebook Odyssey features an all-aluminum chassis with a unique and innovative design. The screen is supported by a single hinge in the center while providing gaps on the two sides. The corners of the laptop are well-rounded providing a clean premium finish.
Now if we come towards the internal specifications regarding this laptop. Samsung did not reveal the model of processor specifically, though a hexacore processor is mentioned which might turn out to be Intel Core-i7 8750H. Whatever the case, a hexacore processor can easily max-out the latest AAA titles at maximum quality. Moreover, the laptop features two SO-DIMM slots supporting a maximum RAM capacity of 32-GB which is more than enough for any game.
The most stunning quality of this laptop is that it features Nvidia’s latest graphics card GeForce RTX 2080 with 8-GB of GDDR6 memory. This will be one of the most powerful gaming laptops supporting the latest technologies such as Ray-Tracing and DLSS.
