Fnatic Overwatch Press Announcement


JULY  21, 2016 Los Angeles, USA – Fnatic has officially announced the addition of one of the top Overwatch teams to their professional lineup, marking its entry into the North American esports scene.


Always on the lookout for the rising stars of the eSports world, Fnatic has recently taken note of one game on the way up: Overwatch. Today they announce their Overwatch team, who will become the first Fnatic tier 1 team to live and play in the US. People familiar with the Overwatch scene will recognize many of the names in the lineup from the team Nubris:

– Scott “custa” Kennedy (Support)

– Oliver “Vonethil” Lager (Support)

– Casey “buds” McIlwaine (DPS)

With such a talented and well rounded team, Fnatic is looking forward to the future of this exciting game, and making a black and orange mark on its competitive history. As Coach Robert Malecki said, “We have the tools to become the best team in the world”.
