HWBOT proves that performance matters

January 11, 2017, Taipei, Taiwan – HWBOT, an organization regulating international Overclocking competitions and rankings, has invited five of the world’s best overclockers to demonstrate the huge overclocking potential of the 7th generation Intel CPU, Kaby Lake, in the cozy atmosphere of the Sky Suite at the Palms Casino & Resort

The Intel Core i7 7700K flagship has been pushed to its maximum capabilities on different platforms with the use of liquid nitrogen, allowing for frequencies over 7 GHz at temperatures below -180°C. After an intense and successful overclocking session, the attending media and industry partners had a chance to talk about the latest Intel and overclocking technologies in a nice environment.

With the “Performance Matters” event, HWBOT has successfully shown the world the capabilities of Kaby Lake. This event also marks the start of the “HWBOT World Tour”, a series of 10 events around the globe where top overclockers fight for a chance to qualify for the grand finale, while additional workshops raise awareness on overclocking to the public.
