OCZ Community: Putting Computer Education in the Flash Fast Lane
When a local elementary school first told OCZ of their plans to upgrade their existing desktop computers, OCZ’s CTO and General Manager of Enterprise Business, Daryl Lang, immediately recognized an opportunity to help.
With the goal of prolonging the life of the school’s PCs, OCZ Storage Solutions donated 100 Deneva 2 SSDs to Santa Teresa Elementary, a Pre K-6 school located in the Oak Grove School District in San Jose, California.
“On behalf of the entire Santa Teresa staff and community, I’d like to extend my gratitude for the donation of 100 solid state drives. The drives will be used to dramatically extend the life of 100 desktop computers that our students use on a daily basis. Without this donation, it would have been difficult to stretch our budget and upgrade our computers,” said Lepori. “You gave given our students additional opportunities to learn and access technology for years to come.”
