COMMUNITY

We will be in Taipei from June 2 to 6 for Computex 2015! We will be displaying all our newest graphics cards and ZBOX mini PCs and we will also be demoing a few unmentioned products live! Stay tuned to our Facebook page during that period for a chance to win a fabulous prize!

In other news, ZOTAC was a proud sponsor of Press Start LAN, one of the largest BYOC Gaming event in Southern California. Held in the Bren Events Center at the University of California, Irvine with a maximum seating capacity of over 2600, this two-day gaming event gave us the chance to engage with the local gaming community, budding college students, and the many volunteers that made the event possible. We showcased our lineup of ZBOX mini PCs and GTX 900 Series graphics cards, answered many questions, ran fun activities to give away great prizes, and watched the many tournament players battle it out in game to find out who is the ultimate gamer.

ZOTAC CUP

This May, over 1,400 players competed against each other in the bi-weekly and weekly ZOTAC Cups for some Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm fun.

Blizzard surprised us in May by starting the Heroes of the Storm open beta much earlier than expected. With further development of the game and more professional players entering Blizzard’s newest game title, the competition for ZOTAC Cup’s most successful team – Team Liquid – has gotten stronger. Throughout this month’s weekly cups, we have seen both Gamers2 (Poland) and NatusVincere (Europe) named the winners, although all bets are off when it comes to the monthly final.

In the ZOTAC Hearthstone EU Cup, we once again witnessed a Finnish player battle his way to cinch the 100€ prize. This is the second time since April that a Finnish player has taken the Hearthstone EU title, but Finland is not the only nation to produce outstanding players. Our past 54 Hearthstone EU champions are from 18 different countries, with Sweden and Poland boasting 5 wins each, and Germany crowning the top with a total of 9 wins.

All of the Cup statistics, card decks, and more exciting insights can be found in the Hall of Fame under “History” of each individual cup website.

  • EU Cup #54: antgod (Korea)
  • NA Cup #53:JuanVzla (Venezuela)
  • NA Cup #54: BustaJ (Canada)
  • SEA Cup #6: CrazyMageeee (Vietnam)
