Corsair Hydro H100i PRO RGB 240mm Liquid Cooler Review

Final Thoughts & Conclusion

Corsair has given the popular Hydro series coolers a facelift and a much quieter pump. We feel the dual fan AIO style is sufficient for the majority of users, even when overclocking. HEDT CPU’s while overclocked may need more cooling, but this should handle all of the mainstream platforms even while overclocked with no issue. With as quiet as the pump is now, and the cooler temps running it at full tilt gives, it’s worthwhile to just max it out and leave it alone unless you live in an extremely quiet and compact environment and value absolute silence above all else. We didn’t even really hear any liquid noise with this cooler, it seems to be completely full which is nice.

The new iCUE software worked really well for us and has plenty of features to play with. The layout was easy to navigate and being able to set up warnings to let you know if there is an issue and to also shut your machine down safely if it continues, even when unattended is really nice. Hopefully, you never need it, but it does give peace of mind. Overall performance from its predecessor might not have changed significantly, but noise generation certainly has, and for the better. If you are in the market for a new closed-loop liquid cooler, your search is over.

Great job Corsair!
