CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3733 MHz Review

We all know when it comes to RAM faster is better and Corsair has sent us a Corsair Vengeance kit that runs at 3733MHz with timings of 17-19-19-39. When we opened the box low and behold we found a RAM fan with three interchangeable colored rings. We cannot express how happy we are to see Corsair going back to fans on some kits. Not only is it top notch RAM fit for computer connoisseurs the fan cools the RAM and due to its proximity to the VRM’s helps cool the VRMs and Chokes in the CPU area.

We received the Vengeance® LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3733MHz C17 Memory Kit – Red (CMK16GX4M2B3733C17R) and it coordinates with so many red themed builds it’s not even funny.  In addition to the 3733MHz Intel XMP profile, Corsair added additional XMPs one for 2074MHz and one for 2132MHz which we would suspect to be safety XMPs. If you can’t get these beauties to run at 3733MHz just email us and we’ll give you the address to ship them to. In all seriousness, though our Corsair Vengeance LPX 3733MHz kit was XMP plug and play so we don’t expect 35 kits heading our way.

Of course, the Vengeance LPX kit is covered by Corsairs 100% lifetime warranty, unbeatable reliability, top notch Tech Support and did we mention a really cool fan.
