Eagletech ET-CSMDSU2-BK Dual Bay SATA to USB Enclosure



Installing is simple and that is what Eagletech wanted in the enclosure. It is just a matter of pressing the buttons on the top of the unit to release the doors on the front. Place a drive on the slide out tray and return the door back to its original position. Done.

Testing Software:
HD Tune Pro 3.50

HD Tune is a Hard Disk utility which has the following functions:

  • Benchmark: measures the performance
  • Info: shows detailed information
  • Health: checks the health status by using SMART
  • Error Scan: scans the surface for errors
  • Temperature display


Performance wise the ET-CSMDSU2-BK showed some respectable numbers. Nothing that would blow you away but respectable. As we saw the enclosure fall right in line with other models we have tested.
