EarFun Go Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Review

Using the EarFun Go was very easy.  Once turned on I grabbed my phone and was able to pair to the device easily. Once the device is turned on, I grabbed my phone and was able to find the speaker in my list of devices to connect to. Once the connection was established the speaker will make an audible tone to let you know that you’re ready to go. I opened my favorite streaming app and found a song with some good high’s lows and mid’s. I was absolutely impressed with the audio quality of this device. Even at a low volume, the device was clear. Unlike other devices, when I turned the device as loud as it would go the sound didn’t get washed out and tin-ie. Some devices when too loud are unbearable. This was not the case. I was impressed with the battery life and had used it for a solid 6+ hours while writing my review and editing pictures. The middle button was a bit confusing without taking a look at the user guide. The middle button acts as the Play/Pause button, Skip button and the Repeat button. Based on the number of times this button is pressed is what happens. If the button is pressed once it will play/pause. If the button is pressed twice, the button will skip the next track. If the button is pressed 3 times, the button will go back to the beginning of the track or go to the last track played.

I took advantage of EarFun Go’s waterproof claims. I took the speaker into the shower with me and listened to music as I took care of business. The speaker held up great in the shower and didn’t notice any quality issues while it was wet. The buttons on the top were responsive and did everything that the should’ve done. IPX7 waterproofing is IPX-7 Waterproof Standard. Protected against short durations of water immersion. Max immersion for less than 30 minutes and at a depth of less than 1 meter.

The only feature that I wasn’t able to test was pairing 2 devices together into stereo mode as I only was sent 1 unit.
