Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro GPU Review

Packaging & Unboxing

Gigabyte’s RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro arrives in a black box with orange and green accents. Taking over the majority of the front of the box is a large mechanical eye which resembles the eye of the AORUS falcon from the “A New Dawn” trailer.  In the bottom-left, we can see that the RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro is RGB Fusion 2.0 compatible, implements WINDFORCE technology and is the OC edition of the card.

The back of the box contains information about most of the Gaming OC Pro’s notable features. These include the WINDFORCE 3X cooling system, pure copper heat pipes, protection metal back plate, and RGB fusion 2.0 compatibility. It also lists the system requirements of the card:

  • PCI Express-compliant motherboard
  • 500W or greater PSU
  • 1.5GB available hard-disk space
  • 8 GB system memory
  • Windows 7/10 64-bit or Linux 64-bit
  • One 8-pin power connector

Removing the outer packaging reveals an entirely black box with the word “Gigabyte” written in a slightly darker shade.

Opening the inner box, we find a black accessory box covering the top which has the same dark shade “Gigabyte” branding.

Taking out the accessory box, we see the Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro in a static bag and surrounded by protective foam securing it in the box.

After taking off all the packaging, we get our first look at the Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro as well as its quick guide and software CD.
