Their new motherboards range the gambit from entry level to full tilt gaming motherboards. The Z170X-UD5 TH is positioned in right in the middle of that pack. It is the feature packed offer in the Ultra Durable line while still being reasonably priced.
The Z170X-UD5 TH supports 6th Generation Intel Core processors and dual channel DDR4. 3-Way Graphics Support with a new meta EMl shielding over the PCI-E Slots. There is PCI-E Gen3 x4 M.2 connector with up to 32Gb/s data transfer and three SATA Express connectors for up to 16Gb/s data transfer. Gigabyte’s Amp-up Audio take care of the audio. The main focus of the Z170X-UD5 TH is Thunderbolt 3 support. Gigabyte has added two Thunderbolt 3 connectors that also support USB 3.1 Type C. That is a list of features that almost any enthusiast can get excited about.
