Huawei Mate SE Review: a Budget smartphone with solid specs and a big screen

The Huawei Mate SE is a bargain for those on a budget looking for a capable but cheap Android smartphone.

In March 2018, Huawei released the Mate SE as a budget smartphone. A month earlier, we saw Honor 7X being announced, mainly the equivalent of the Mate SE. After all, Honor is a Huawei brand offering budget-friendly smartphones.

The unlocked Mate SE brings a little more RAM and storage than the Honor 7X, while keeping the same design and OS, among other features. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications in our Huawei Mate SE review.
