Storage drive docking stations are one of those things that you never fully understand how valuable they are until you need to read, clone, or backup data to loose hard drives and SSDs. Recently I had a file server fail, and have since been relying on three of the dual-bay docking stations to access important data stored on the drives in my now dead server.
PD-2537U3 Power Dock USB 3.0 Dual-Bay Docking Station from Kingwin technology. Power Dock is quite similar to other dual-drive docking stations we have tested in recent months, and features the same USB 3.0 “SuperSpeed” interface, and drive cloning capabilities that most other docking stations in this category do. However, unlike many of the docking stations I have tested recently, the Kingwin Power Dock features one-touch backup capabilities as well. So lets jump in and see if the Power Dock can live up to its manufacturer’s claims!
