Noctua NH-C12P SE14 CPU Cooler

Conclusion

Noctua has once again impressed us with another cooler. Time and time again we have seen Noctua put out great coolers. The C12P SE14 will not allow you to achieve the ultimate overclock but it will allow you to keep your rig quiet while providing better than good cooling. Hopefully, we don’t have any single fan coolers to put it up against but we are confident it would have held its own against them.

Today’s coolers are all becoming large and heavy. We know a lot of times heavier is better. Noctua realize that is not always the case. The C12P is a lightweight compared to must coolers on the market today. Weighing in at just 550 grams without the fan and 730 with it, you don’t have to worry about the extra stress being placed on the motherboard.

When Noctua includes a fan with their cooler, you know the chances are high that quietness will be a characteristic of that cooler. The NF-P14 never exceeds 20 dBA according to Noctua which is well within the quiet PC range.
The mounting process of the C12P is simple but a little time consuming. But we do like the security that is given so no love lost there.

The only thing we see as a concern is the price of the C12P SE14, which is approximately $70 at the lowest point making it an expensive cooler.
