The NZXT Hale90 continues from where the PP and the Precise series left off. Like the models before it the Hale90 is a proud owner of an 80Plus certification. While the older models only were able to obtain an 80Plus Bronze, Hale90 owns gold, meaning at least an 87% efficiency rating is guaranteed through the load spectrum.
The Hale90 750 does not own a SLI certification but we had no problems powering up a dual GTX 460 rig we briefly tested it in. This being said Crossfiring a couple of 5850s or 6850s should not be a problem either.
Visually, the Hale90 is a very appealing unit that will fit right in depending on your system’s color scheme. I test fit the unit in a Lian Li 8FI (silver interior) with an ASRock P55 Extreme4 that uses white expansion slots and all looked great together.
The NZXT Hale90 is priced at $139 making it cheaper than most other popular branded power supplies. Which makes it a great buy for anyone looking for a quality power supply.
