NZXT did a great job bringing to market a solid performing first cooler. The dual 140mm fans definitely added to the wonderful performance we saw here today. What we felt was ingenious was the way the fans were attached to the cooler as the usage of that style rubber holders made the assembly process easy and fast. But better yet, they didn’t fall off after use. It also made disassembly very quick; however, chances are you will not need to disassemble as we are confident you will be pleased with the cooling level of the Havik.
If you are concerned about the weight of the Havik 140, you should not. The weight is beautifully distributed by the mounting system of the cooler, which we have a lot of confidence in. Speaking of mounting, the Havik 140 is fully compatible with all the current sockets from Intel and AMD.
The Havik 140 will set you back $75, which puts both price and performance in the neighborhood of some of the best coolers on the market like the Prolimatech, Thermalright and Zalman.
