Packaging and Closer Look
The packaging looks fairly typical of OCZ’s products. The package does have a nice semi-gloss look to it, giving it a high quality feel. The packing itself is universal amongst the RevoDrive line. There are specific decals attached to the box depending on which product it contains.
The back of the package is fairly simplistic. There is some basic information about the drive, but little else.
The drive and accessories are located in an inner padded hinged box. Everything fits tightly and is well protected.
The drive is further protected by a plastic tray. The tray is re-closable.
Accessories are fairly limited, featuring only a single driver/installation CD.
Our first look at the drive. The top cover of the drive is painted metal and has a large plaque attached to it.
On the top side, we find two SandForce SF-2282 controllers and Toshiba 19nm Multi-Level Cell (MLC) Flash. The bottom side mirrors much of the top side, except adding DRAM and a RAID controller.
Let’s move on to testing in the next page.
I’ve always kind of been on
I’ve always kind of been on he fence about OCZ products, but my opinion of them is gradually improving.
