Patriot Xporter XT Rage 32GB Flash Drive

Before we get into the testing portion of the article I would like to show how Windows reads the drive, which as you can see all of the drive’s available capacity is useable. At least by how drive makers label capacities.

Testing Hardware:
Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E Deluxe
Processor: Intel Core i5 655K @ 4.2GHz at 1.4 volts
Ram: OCZ DDR3 1600 4GB Dual Channel
Video Card: Sapphire HD 5750 Crossfire
HDD: Hitachi 1TB
Power: Thermaltake Tough Power XT 850 (Sponsored by Thermaltake)
Case: NA
Cooling: Scythe Yasya
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit
Thermal compound: Arctic Silver 5

We placed the Patriot Xporter XT Rage up against the likes of one of my favorite flash drives, the 8GB Super Talent Fireball. The Fireball has proven itself to be one of the fastest drives on the market.
