Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition Gunmetal Grey
Razer was founded in 2005 and started out dual headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore and focused on one thing “For Gamers by Gamers” and has remained true to that one defining point. Razer has something for everyone in an ever widening circle of products that now includes the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition in four varieties (Black, Gunmetal Grey, Mercury White, and Quartz Pink) and we have the Gunmetal Grey edition to look at.
The Lancehead Tournament Edition is based on a 16000 DPI Optical sensor capable of moving 450 inches per second (IPS) the Lancehead gives you the undisputed fastest sensor made. The sensor Razer uses in the Lancehead Tournament edition is Razer’s proprietary PMW 3389 sensor the same sensor used in the DeathAdder Elite. The switches are the new Razer designed Omron 50 million click switches which are ultra durable and give a good tactile feedback while gaming.
One of the newer aspects about the Lancehead TE Gunmetal is profiles can be stored in onboard memory or in Razers Cloud via Synapse 3 (Beta) so we are looking at a hybrid profile storage system that LAN partiers and eSports professionals can take advantage of anywhere they happen to be.
The Lancehead is, of course, Chroma and ambidextrous which is nice for the lefties of the world as there seems to be a shortage of Tournament quality ambidextrous mice.
