Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit Review

Is the budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit smartphone a clever purchase?

Released in June 2018, Samsung Galaxy J3 is the smaller sibling of the J7 Crown that was released a bit earlier that year. While we talked about the likes of J7 Crown and J7 Star, we didn’t have a chance to take a look at the 5-inch smartphone that caters for buyers on a budget.

Galaxy J3 is also known under various names (depending on the carrier), but we chose to review the Galaxy J3 Orbit. Let’s take a look at the pros and cons, as well as the technical specs and see if this smartphone is a clever purchase in 2020 or not.

Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit – Pros and Cons

+ Pros: Octa-core processor
– Cons: only 2 GB of Ram and 16 GB of internal storage, comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box

Some of the downsides are obviously the low RAM and the small internal storage. While Android 8.0 Oreo would have been a great feature back in 2018, newer phones come with Android 9.0. For its launch prince of around $150, nowadays, the J3 Orbit doesn’t stand against the competitions on the market. Newer and cheaper phones with updated parts would easily beat the J3 Orbit. But before we reach a verdict, let’s take a look at what it can offer.
