Silverstone PM02 Case Review

The Silverstone PM02 Case is Designed for Airflow

The top panel and front cover are designed for great airflow. With the front cover removed, there’s a dust filter. Perfect for keeping out dust bunnies that would otherwise collect with the three included 120mm PWM fans. Alternatively, you could swap those out for a 360mm radiator or AIO cooler, such as SilverStone’s PF360. The top panel can house two 120/140mm fans, or a 240mm radiator/AIO cooler.

We all need I/O
The front I/O ports are consistent with what you’d expect to see from most of today’s case manufacturers. There are 3 – USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB Type C, 3.5mm headphone out, and 3.5mm microphone or line in.

Cable management

SilverStone made your job a little easier when it comes to cable management. Included on the motherboard tray are rubber grommets for feeding wires and cables. On the back side of those, some hook and loop type loops are provided to keep everything nice and tidy.
Also behind the motherboard tray are three tool-less sleds for mounting SSDs. Having some of the components behind the motherboard tray really adds to the overall clean look of this case.

Keeping with the clean theme, there’s a very nice PSU shroud at the bottom of the PM02. Under the shroud is also a cage that will hold up to three 2.5” or 3.5” hard drives.
