Thermaltake Urban T81 Full Tower Chassis Review

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

The Thermaltake Urban T81 Full Tower Chassis was a pleasure to work with, it’s both elegant and sexy in one neat package, and at $189.99 the price won’t break the bank. Our last price check showed that Newegg is now offering a $20.00 rebate, knocking the price down to $169.99 and at $171.19 in Amazon and that’s a price we can all live with.

The Urban T81 fits the bill for people that still enjoy running an air cooled system and also water cooling enthusiasts that like to use 3 or more radiators in their water cooled rigs. The Urban T81 can hold a total of four radiators, two 420mm radiators in both the top and front sections, a 280mm in the lower section of the chassis, and a 140mm on the inside rear panel which is more than enough radiators to put a smile on any water cooling enthuses face.

Let’s not forget that like its sibling the Core V71 the Urban T81 was also build with a fully modular concept, with customizable 5.25″ and 3.5″ drive bay feature which enables to freely interchange 3.5″ hard drive cages to suit ones needs, or by fully removing the 5.25″ & 3.5″ drive bays to gain maximum space in front section of the chassis for liquid cooling.

The Thermaltake Urban T81 Full Tower is one of the best chassis that we have had the pleasure of reviewing so far this yeah. Weather your into air cooling or a water cooling enthuses he Urban T81 should be on your short list when looking for a new case, and once you factor in the $169.99 price tag the Urban T81 is just too good of a deal to pass up, which is just one of many reasons that the Thermaltake Urban T81 Full Tower Chassis has earned Pro-Clockers Editor’s Choice Award!
