TONOR TC-777 USB Microphone Review

TONOR TC-777 USB Microphone Features

It’s worth noting that there are no necessary modifications to be made to your desk or recording surface with this mic. The feet on the mic tripod have rubber tips to keep it from sliding. There are no extra mounts or brackets needed to start using this product. That feature in combination with its pop filter and shock mount are a unique combination in its price range. This is another feature that makes it stand out from the crowd. All that said, you can attach it to a boom stand for great customization if you so choose to.

One of our favorite features for this microphone is the pop filter that comes with the product and its shock mount system that helps minimize unnecessary noise pick up. It’s also made with a cardioid pickup pattern that means it’ll pick up the speaker’s voice and naturally mute out some of the background noise.

The pop filter is about five inches in diameter and made from a cotton-jersey blend fabric and a plastic hoop. It comes with a clip that’s easy to attach to the microphone on an adjustable arm. The pop filter makes it easier to edit out plosives and other sharp sounds from audio tracks. We did find the first pop filter adjustment a little tricky to get just right but once you find a comfortable position for the pop filter it stays in place very well. The construction feels solid and sturdy and the fabric that makes the filter feels soft and high-quality.
