8. DOSS SoundBox XL Review
+ Pros: comes with AUX and MicroSD Playback features, great low-end frequency range, great design, easy to maneuver
– Cons: No auto-off, no USB charging, build quality not the best, heavy. It cannot be paired with a second speaker for a stereo experience.
Its design is stripped down, it has super tactile buttons on the top, the body is scratch-resistant and durable. It also comes with some handy features such as a DC 12V 2.5A port, an AUX-IN port and a TF card slot at the back of the speaker.
The sound system is delivered by a 20W driver and a 12W subwoofer. The speaker has two passive radiators, enhancing sound quality. Another drawback is that the battery will charge via a 12V 2.5A Exchangeable Charger.
The battery will last up to 10 hours with the volume set at 50%, so the battery will last less when the speaker is set at 100% volume, meaning that it may struggle in outdoor events. For indoor use, it can be plugged and used as a wired speaker.
