Viper’s software provides a single point to configure the V765 keyboard. The first time you fire it up, you may be met with a request to update the keyboard’s firmware.
The update process is painless and only takes about 10 seconds to complete.
You have quite a few lighting presets to play with out of the box, but you can customize your own as well.
You can control the zones on the ends of the keyboard separately from the keys themselves.
Every single key can be configured as a macro if you want.
You can also adjust lighting per-key.
Beyond macros, every single key is fully programmable. The V765 is more of a giant macro board that mimics a keyboard by default than the other way around.
You can also adjust response times, USB polling rate and key repeat times with simple sliders.
