XFX RX 5700XT THICC II Graphics Card Review

Final Thoughts & Conclusion

From its amazing looks to how it performed in our benchmarks the XFX RX 5700XT THICC II exceeded my expectations. It excelled in many of our benchmarks out of the box and routinely found itself in-between Nvidia’s RTX 2060/2070 Super’s.

If you’re like me and like to get the most out of your hardware, the THICC II will not disappoint. I was able to push the core clock to an impressive 2100MHz and the memory to 1900MHz (15.2 Gbps effective). This equated to a 6.9% score increase in our Timespy benchmark bringing our total score to 9659. The only issue I ran into while overclocking, was the fan’s refused to stay at 100% during the Timespy benchmark. For some reason the reverted back to their original profile and maxed out at 55%. Even with this slight issue the card only hit a maximum temperature of 66C.

In the aesthetics department, I really liked the matte all-black design with the chrom eaccents. Personally, I think the XFX has done an excellent job creating a stunning looking card that should look great in any build.

Overall, I was truly impressed with the XFX RX 5700XT THICC II and would highly recommend anyone looking for a killer 1080P/1440P graphics card.

Amazing job, XFX!
