A Closer Look
Cooler Master’s explanation is spot on about the surface of the MP750 as it is extremely soft to the touch. The RGB border is comprised of what looks like a large transparent tube that is secured to the mouse pad with black stitching.
Looking at the top right corner of the MP750, there is a purple painted outline of the Cooler Master logo that is slightly raised.
In the top left corner, you have the on-the-fly RGB controller which enables you to change the border RGB without the need of the Portal software.
The back of the MP750 is made from a texturized rubber that prevents the mouse pad from slipping while in use.
Like most Cooler Master accessories, the USB connector is gold plated with a royal purple insert.
The included USB cord is braided which is a nice premium touch.
Once plugged in, the RGB features Cooler Master signature royal purple which flows through the border. At first, we were unsure how the border would light up with only the 2 LED’s but it works quite well.
To get a true sense of how bright the border is, we proceeded to turn out the lights. As you can see it is quite vivid and lights up in a fairly uniform manner with the exception of being a little brighter around the RGB controller and corners of the mouse pad.
