User Experience and Conclusion.
I have been using the Frabicon Xplorer backpack as my travel backpack of choice when I need to have my notebook with me for work. Compared to the Case Logic Jaunt backpack I also reviewed, the Frabicon Xplorer feels a studier and offers better comfort on the shoulder area particularly when the content inside makes it heavier. The thickly padded shoulder straps help significantly with comfort relative to weight. The bag’s overall thick padding also makes its form more solid that it stays in shape even when there’s nothing inside it. The thick padding inside also secures and protects the gadgets and gears stored inside better. However, the Xplorer laptop backpack is also significantly heavier compared to typical laptop backpacks like the Case Logic Jaunt. Hence, I believe it’s the only trade-off for the added protection for your gadgets and comfort for your shoulders and back. At around $39, its sturdy and well-build quality is reasonable for the added weight.
- Thick padding on shoulder straps
- Sturdy and well-built
- Plenty of storage but not too much
- A little heavier compared to typical laptop backpacks
