To test these headphones, I did a variety of different things. First of all, I fired up my favorite game currently which is Apex Legends. I have been playing this game for a while now so I know that this would be a good test for these headphones. From footsteps to firefights to wild prey on the map that has loot I could hear it all. I was able to hear my teammates and they were able to hear me as well. The earcups are rather comfortable and even though I wear glasses, I didn’t notice any fatigue around my ears from wearing these.
After playing some Apex for a couple of hours I got to writing this review. I had the HS60 Pro Surround headset on from playing Apex so I fired up my favorite Spotify playlist and got to writing. I immediately noticed the low bass sounds and the highs as well. I toggled between the 7.1 surround sound as well as the stereo features and could easily tell the difference. The 7.1 surround is a nice full sound that you don’t get with most headphones. Remember, this is a $70 headset. Some high-end headsets don’t sound this good. Overall I was very impressed with the sound.
