LUXA2 Groovy Audio Center App
You can find the app at Google Play. Simply search it, download it and install.
The app's dashboard is on the images below. On the right image, you can see four major buttons. The upper-left is for the equalizer, the upper-right is a music player, lower-left is for the Bluetooth connection and on the lower-right is the radio function.
Press the Bluetooth icon will turn on the Bluetooth connectivity of your smartphone. Make sure that the GroovyR is also turned on so your smartphone can detect it. On the right image, it shows a list of recently paired devices with the smartphone I am using. Simply select and wait for your device to get connected. Connecting the GroovyR to the smartphone can fail based on my experience, you just need to retry until the Bluetooth connection is successfully established. It might require you to press the middle button of the GroovyR for 3 seconds to reset Bluetooth pairing.
The LUXA2 Groovy Audio Center also has a radio. The dashboard is very simple, just the play/pause button in the middle. On the upper-right is a red list icon you can click to select a radio station of choice. Note that you do need internet connection to search for any radio station that's being streamed online.
Clicking the red list icon will give you a short list of options first. You can see how I explored this section as you go from left to right.
You can listen to any radio station streamed online whether it's local or from the other side of the planet.
Moving on to the equalizer function, it is turned off by default. You can play around with it and set your own configuration or you can select one of the 21 presets available.
The Groovy Audio Center also has its own media player. Dashboard consists of the typical buttons media players have such as shuffle, repeat, random, play/pause, previous track and next track. To check your media library, simply press the red list button on the top-right. Media will be categorized by artists, albums, songs, playlists, genres, and files.
Let's move on to our testing and experience then the conclusion on the next page.
