System Configuration & Installation

The test system we are using is:

  • Open Test Bench
  • Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
  • Intel 9900K Processor Overclocked to 4.9GHz
  • 4 x 4GB Team Group T1 Gaming 2666MHz Ram
  • MSI X-Gaming RX480 8GB GPU
  • Corsair HX750 PSU

Like most AIO’s I have installed, the ML240P was extremely easy to set up with the included instructions. The instructions were both clear/concise and the diagrams were excellent. What I really liked about installing the unit was that the majority of hardware uses thumbscrews which only needed to be hand tightened. The only part that required a screwdriver was when I attached the correct mounting brackets to the pump.

Once everything was installed and the system booted, the LEDs default to a pink/purple rainbow effect. If this is not your style, the LEDs can be changed by using the included ARGB controller or configure it using the MasterPlus software (described in the next section). Personally, I was a big fan of the pink/purple pump which matches the purple impeller perfectly.

The fans also look gorgeous and I really liked how the LEDs interact with the outer ring of the fan.
