The MK850 arrives in Cooler Master’s classic black box with royal purple accents. On the front of the box there’s a profile view of the MK850 sporting RGB backlighting and detachable magnetic wrist rest. Looking to the lower right of the box we can see the MK850 features Cherry MX switches, RGB backlighting, and Aimpad technology.

Looking to the back, there is another photo of the MK850 which highlight various notable features of the keyboard. Some of these listed features include Cherry MX switches, media keys, two USB 3.0, anodized brushed aluminum finish, on-the-fly controls, and Aimpad technology. These features are also listed on the bottom of the box in 8 other languages.

When we removed the outer packaging, we were greeted with a black box with a purple foiled Cooler Master logo. We have seen similar boxes with other Cooler Master peripherals and it’s nice to see it continued with the MK850.

Opening the box, we see the MK850 which is covered with a molded plastic top. Written on the lid is the slogan: “Make Your Gaming Experience”.  Right above the MK850 is the detachable wrist rest which is enclosed in a plastic bag.

Accessories for the MK850 Cooler Master include: an Aimpad calibration manual, MK850 user guide, purple keycaps, keycap puller, wrist rest, and USB Type-C cord.
