I have reviewed a lot of mechanical keyboards over the last several years, and the same three factors have dominated my judgement on how well they score. Those factors are affordability, wrist fatigue, and build quality. The affordability has often been the one factor that I have to take away points from because there was a period where mechanical keyboards were quite overpriced. Now that the patent has expired on the mechanical switch design, many chinese mechanical keyboards are popping up at unheard of prices. Today I am going to take a look at one of those.

Since it first arrived on the on the scene in 2007, Cougar has made a name for itself synonymous with quality peripherals. Whether its mice, fans or keyboards, if it has the Cougar name on it, you usually know what you’re getting. One option that many people overlook are the Scissor-Switch Membrane Keyboards. Sometimes called “Mechanical Feeling” keyboards, the scissor-switch membrane keyboards could be a great, more affordable option for gamers and enthusiasts alike. Today, we’re taking a look at the all new Cougar 300k scissor-switch keyboard, and we’re going to try to answer that question and see if the Cougars 300k is a viable option.

AZZA Poseidon

In the world of gaming peripherals, the market is flooded with many devices – some of which do not hold up on their own. That is not the case with the AZZA Poseidon KBAZ-005; this keyboard is marketed as having killer precision and excellent ergonomics, and they are not wrong.

Regular Pro-Clockers readers know the ROCCAT name. We've reviewed many of their products in the past and have had absolutely nothing bad to say about any of them. I've had the pleasure of reviewing many of the Ryos series mechanical keyboards as well. Well today we're back for another installment of the ROCCAT Ryos keyboard review, but we'll be looking at their Ryos TKL Pro mechanical board this time. The Ryos TKL packs a lot of the features of the other Ryos boards we've looked at but with one huge difference - it's missing the entire number pad section - hence the "TKL" or "Ten Key Less." Let's check it out now.

We recently took a look at the COUGAR 600K mechanical gaming keyboard and now we've got it's little brother in the shop - the 500K gaming keyboard. The 500K is similar to the 600K in looks and layout but where the 600K lacks in software controls and full backlighting the 500K shines with the exception of the use of a membrane keyboard instead of mechanical switches. COUGAR was kind enough to send us one to check out for you guys so let's take a look at it now.

Gaming keyboards are everywhere these days. Membrane switches, mechanical switches, no backlighting, partial backlighting, full-color backlighting, selectable backlighting, software enhancements, etc. The list goes on. There's just so many options out there for a gaming keyboard. Our friends over at COUGAR have opted for something a little different. A gaming keyboard that's pure gaming. No fancy software, mechanical switches, brushed aluminum main body and modest single-color backlighting. What is this monstrosity you ask? Well my friends the answer is the COUGAR 600K mechanical gaming keyboard. COUGAR was kind enough to send us one to check out so let's get to it!

Cougar 700K Keyboard

Cougar is a name that a lot of people recognize for their PC cases, Fans, and Power Supply's, however not many people know that Cougar has made the move to their own line gaming hardware. They produce a full line of Keyboards, Mice and Pads. Recently we reviewed the Cougar 700M Gaming Mouse and Speed Pad. Today we have the privilege to look at their 700K gaming keyboard.
